Monday, Monday.

Happy Monday? haha

Erin and I leave for school saturday morning! crazy! I'm actually really excited. Haven't been back since Halloween or so. So I'm packing up and cleaning my room like crazy and doing many loads of laundry. I can't wait to see many friends and family members in Idaho. Summer there is really fun too. :) I'm all signed up for my classes this semester: Literacy 1, Motivation and Management in the Classroom, Middle East, Health and Wellness, and Math 205. 14 credits in all. I'm planning on giving plasma again, and possibly be looking for a job depending on my classes.

Yesterday, was my last day being the Sun Beam teacher in the Shawano Ward. Even though I was only called for 4 months, it was a great experience and plenty of fun. The lesson for yesterday was I am Thankful for Animals. I love the sunbeam lessons. They are so awesome. To make it even more fun, I brought my cat Ike! haha. Oh man, there was so much squealing and laughing. He was a good sport, but scared. I love learning about the gospel from the perspective of 3 yr olds. It reminds you of how simple it can be.

I'm pretty sure that this is becoming my new journal!

Easter Weekend

This Easter, my mom and I went to Arkansas, where my brother, sister-in-law, nephew, and soon to be niece live! They live in Centerton, and I really love the area.

Anyway activities included watching conference, feeding geese, going to the park, playing trains, playing wii sports, scrapbooking, going to walmart, talking about the new baby, etc. I had so much fun with all of them. Brendon is 2, and will turn 3 in July. He is a little firecracker. He is so fun, and says the funniest things. Trains and Thomas the Tank Engine are his thing, so playing trains was a daily occurance. He will shout, "Lo-Los, Play Trains!" Its pretty cute. One of his other favorite things is to feed the geese at a nearby pond. It is definetly a treat to see how excited he gets. He will describe it as "way fun!" haha I definetly miss him.
My cute preggo sister-in-law!

Feeding the Geese!

At the Park!

Talking about the soon to be baby girl was also fun. Mom brought a few clothes for her, and I made a scrapbook for her. A friend of Christie's also gave her some used clothes. It was exciting to start getting ready for her. Hopefully I will be able to meet her in august or so. Her name will be Arianna May, at this point anyway. haha. Christie and Tony are funny when discussing this :)

Conference and Easter sunday were very special as well. I would have to say that my favorite talk was by President Dieter F. Uctdorf. It probably isn't good to have a favorite General Authority, but hands down, he is my FAVORITE! He is such a teddy bear! I do not remember all he said, but I remember how I felt. It will be good to read that one when it comes out next month, and all for that matter. But it is so true that Love makes all the difference. I have a friend on a mission, and he recently told me that same thing. Loving the members makes all of the difference. :)

Brendon recieved a few fun church books and church action figures for easter, along with candy from "the easter bunny' which is always fun, but the best is remembering the resurrection of Christ. Christie and Tony had the missionaries for easter dinner, and we played an activity called spiritual eggs. There were numbered eggs, and we took turns reading them and holding the item inside. The scriptures had to do with the crucifixtion and ressurection. In the last egg there was nothing, because the tomb was empty. :) Im sure many of you have played some version of this activity on easter, but I just wanted to share with you how neat I thought it was. Easter was great! :)

It's april!

Hi.
Its april! :)

Not too much to say, but I felt like writing.

This morning was april fools day. Don't really get it, and I always know when people are pulling my leg. Michael, on the other hand was a dork this morning. It was mom's idea. She and me were just chillin on the couch at 6am, and Mike was getting ready for school/seminary. Mom said, "Let's trick Michael!" So I thought of the lame prank. Everytime his school has an update to share with the student body, they call all the students, on an automated voice message. So I told them that the school called, and that the pipes burst and that the sewage was backed up. He totally believed it. "Really?" well I'm not going to seminary.
"Andrea won't know about the pipes, so you have to go!" Said Dad.
Then we said, "April fools!" Michael: "seriously? I really was glad I didn't have to go to school. Our school stinks anyway!" haha.

One more cute story: So, my dad and Michael and some friends and people from church are re-roofing our house. To get out there, some walk out on the balcony. Well, the door got left open until late at night. When my mom went up to bed, she closed the door. Well, what we didn't know, was that Ikey was on the roof. My mom woke up in the early morning to Ike's meows. He spent the night on the roof. It doesn't sound like a big deal, but he is an inside kitty. He does get outside quite a bit though, but since he doesn't have claws, he really shouldn't be there without us. Anyway, we are glad he is safe, but it was so funny. We all think he is a brave kitty! What a cutie. I just love my cat, haha I'm a nerd!
